BUILT ENVIRONMENT
The hotel complex has been built using only locally sourced materials. The authentic architectural style of the entire development is defined by stylish low-rise buildingsthat seamlessly integrate with the natural surroundingsto celebrate elements of the traditional Cretan landscape. Lush gardens filled with native plants, fruit bearing trees, and our olive tree forest are cared for daily by our staff.
GOING LOCAL
To reduce our environmental footprint and support our local community, we work exclusivelywith local companies and farms. All food served in the hotel is sourced from local suppliers based on seasonal harvesting. We also have our own in-house organic garden where we grow herbs to be used in the restaurants and bars

The Green Key is an eco-labelthat represents a commitment by businesses that their premises adhere to the strict criteria set by the Foundation for Environmental Education.
BLUE FLAG CERTIFICATION
This achievement is a result of our hard work to maintain the high quality and cleanlinessof the surrounding beach and seawater.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
We are excited to share that 15% of our electricity needsare met through solar energy. In the coming years we will continue to adopt the use of renewable energy sources in our premises. We have also installed in-room VRV-inverter air-conditioner systems for optimum energysavings.
OCCUPANT HEALTH & WELLBEING
Our cleaning crew uses strictly non-harmful chemicals by ECOLAB to clean and sanitize all spaces throughout the hotel complex.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
We have partnered with an external provider to recycle used kitchen oils to produce soap.
